Paris in the spotlight
To celebrate the Air Max Month 2019, Nike wanted to give its fans a voice through a sneaker design competition. Six cities were featured including New York, Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo, London and Paris. Lou Matheron won the parisian competition with her hybrid creation: the Air Vapormax Plus “Paris Work in Progress”. The pair is inspired by the work on the new Paris courthouse that was under construction at the time. It is also a symbol of a city always under construction. The main feature of this silhouette is its original look, without laces and equipped with a multitude of accessories allowing you to customize it to your taste.
A unique personalization system
The pair comes with different Swooshes that can be attached using a screw system which is designed to remind you of the elements on the building site. There are also striped insoles which fit perfectly into the world of this creation. This hybrid is based on a translucent Vapormax sole.
