DESIGNER SANDY LIANG COLLABORATES WITH VANS

The New York designer introduces her collection with the californian brand Vans. For this capsule, Sandy Liang has chosen to work on sneakers, clothing and accessories. She designed this collection drawing inspiration from her childhood in the Bayside district of New York. Her grandmother's old clothes are also a source of inspiration for the young artist.

Five models

The collection consists of five pairs of sneakers: two Vans Old Skool, a Sport, an Era and a Platform Slip-On. Using different materials make this capsule really original: leopard print fleece and jewelry decorate some pairs. The Vans Era integrates a bracelet at the ankle. This accessory is directly sewn in pink velvet.

The Old Skool is inspired by an old sofa from her grandmother. It is also accompanied by charms found on the upper. The second color is more sober with black canvas contrasted by white touches. The Vans Platform Slip-On is a new version of the famous Slip-On. Indeed, as its name suggests, the pair is enhanced and has a fleece upper with leopard prints.

The Vans Sport has an asymmetrical design with one foot that features black canvas and leopard prints and the other with a tartan pattern.
